Eyes Break Into a Thousand Lights is a handmade cameraless 16mm film-as-seascape, based on reactions between emulsions and sea spray, sand, and other aquatic material. The title comes from a fragment of Virginia Woolf's 1931 experimental novel "The Waves." This film and original soundtrack intend to invoke an oceanic state - of depths, of fragmented light, and immersion.
