Surrounded by Colors We Could No Longer See is a flowing dreamscape of fragments, images, and afterimages - a terrain of memory as corporeal as it is optical. This diaristic personal film passages through spaces of the filmmaker's family history, where the desert becomes a collection zone for scattered pieces. The film is mirrored by a text of the same name published in Manual for a Future Desert.
